Last Friday saw 154 supporters of West Buckland School descend upon Saunton Sands Hotel for the Foundation 20th Anniversary Ball and Auction.  The guests looked spectacular in their glamorous Black Tie attire, much entertainment was had from “Heads and Tails” and a delicious 3-course meal was enjoyed by all.  During dessert, the serious business of the evening was got down to with 18 Auction Lots up for grabs.  Our resident quiz master, Guy Monk took to the gavel and the bidding frenzy began.

A huge thanks to everyone who attended and helped us to raise over £20,000 towards the Foundation Bursary Programme – we could not have done so without the generosity of those who bid, our fabulous prize donors, our raffle prize donors and the support of all the Saunton Sands Hotel staff.  Thanks also to photographer Dave Williams who can take 20 years off of anyone!
