Cheers to the OWBA!
Cheers to the OWBA!

On Thursday 11th May over 60 Alumni, former teachers and parents made their way to the cellar bar at The Coal Hole on London's Strand for our London Reunion Drinks.  This is the first time we have been able to hold this event since the pandemic and the assembled group proved that there ain't no party like an OWBA party!

The evening was a chance for Alumni to reunite with old friends, some of whom they hadn't seen since leaving school.  Former pupils were delighted to see their old teachers including Jan Witheridge, Chris Ponder, Mike Tucker, Jonathan Ralph and Dennis Morgan and new connections were forged between the generations with those attending ranging from the 1960's to the 2020's!  There was also much talk of returning to run the Exmoor next year - we'll see if enthusiasm does indeed yield entrants!

A great night was had by all although there may have been the odd sore head the next day!
