Unfortunately this year there were not enough old boys to create two OWBA teams, so some old boys joined staff and pupils to constitute the ‘PJB All Star XI’.

The latter won their opening encounter against the school, with goals from James Newman 07-12 C and Harry Cope 04-12 G. However, against the full OWBA side, captained by Robert Wheeler 80-86 F although the ‘All Star XI’ took the lead, it was the OWBA that triumphed - Harrison Briggs 03-10 F converting from the short corners.

Perhaps a little exhausted the OWBA then lost 1-0 to a school 1^st XI that played some good passing hockey. Once again, it was nice to see our old boys back at school, and to see they haven’t entirely lost their skills!
