4 Jan 2014
Careers
On the 8th January 2014, former pupil, Felix Light, gave a talk to Year 12 about Oxbridge applications. He is currently in his second year at St Hugh's College, Oxford, where he is reading history.

"With the thought of looming University applications and personal statements, Felix Light brought the possibility of an Oxbridge application to the forefront of our minds. Felix gave us an insight into the application process that he went through after attending an open day at Oxford and explained why we should be applying to Oxbridge. Whilst putting many myths about interviews straight, Felix explained the importance of extra-curricular activities, reading around the subject you would like to study and how the extended project could help set you apart from others applying. I personally found Felix’s enthusiasm for Oxford infectious and have spent time researching colleges and courses there with the hope of applying in September."
