Staff Leavers 2013: Heather Lane

Bidding a fond farewell to Heather Lane
Whilst at West Buckland, Heather approached her lessons, training sessions and matches with huge passion and enthusiasm. She taught A-level PE, games lessons in both the Senior and Prep schools, coached the 1st netball team in her final year and regularly coached the Under 14 hockey, rounders and tennis squads.

Over the past four years, Heather has skilfully combined working in two schools, but, inevitably, juggling this busy schedule, together with Saturday fixtures and her netball commitments, has proved to be unsustainable. And so Heather leaves us for Braunton Community College, who have offered her close to a full timetable. Heather will be remembered for her dedication, professionalism, enthusiasm and boundless energy.
