I have recently reached 4 years of service in the Royal Navy (RN).

I am currently serving at HMS Drake as a Career Manager, where  I am responsible for the career movements and aspirations of the Mechanical Engineering branch within the RN.

It is demanding work within a high pressured environment;  however, I enjoy and relish the day to day challenges. As a keen sportswoman at West Buckland School, this has continued into the RN.

I have played netball for the RN since I finished my basic training in 2015 and this year, I was successfully selected for the United Kingdom Armed Forces Netball Team (UKAF).

This has been a massive achievement that I have been aiming for since I started representing the RN at Netball. UKAF Netball is a team that plays at an international level. Most recently,  I have played in Barbados.

I was also fortunate enough to play in Fiji in 2016. I am a firm believer in the fact that representing the Armed Forces in sport affords you opportunities not normally available to the general public and for that I will always be grateful.
