I have been at West Buckland School my whole life, starting in the Nursery.

The school has changed massively in my time here, with teachers and students coming and going, and the campus changing. It has certainly been a journey, but I am sure I will look back on my time at West Buckland with great fondness.

I think the Leavers’ Ball is a chance for all of us to recognise and appreciate not only our individual journeys, but also our journey as a year group and the life-long friendships we have developed during our time together.

Having seen each other’s faces every day, it will be strange to not have that sense of familiarity in the same way that I have felt at West Buckland. Before exams, it will be nice to relax and enjoy our time together one final time, before everybody heads off in their own directions.

After West Buckland, I plan to study Finance at the London School of Economics, in order to pursue a career in Investment Banking.
