"Thank you for such a delight!

Pat and I had been surprised – and the post lady too – by the large number of cards arriving just ahead of a special day, and our surprise was much greater when we realised that many were from past members of WB over many years.  It was touching to read your kind remarks, to recall incidents that some mentioned or simply just to remember the person who had sent their best wishes.  Thank you all, and I’m sorry that I cannot reply to you individually.

We are both in good health, apart from the typical problems of growing old – joints, hearing, memory, etc. – and still in our home in Winkleigh to which we moved in 1997.  We’ll be pleased to see you:  call in if you are passing."
