Chris joined West Buckland seven years ago as a saxophone teacher and soon moved into the classroom. He was a tutor in Brereton, an assistant houseparent in Boyer house for three years and became an excellent role model for the boys who lived there during this time. However,most of the pupils he will be remembered for the annual music residential.
Five years, two venues, six hundred pupils and over 25 staff; this is the legacy he leaves us, and we’re thrilled by it. Chris Block literally took a huge bite out of West Buckland life – and he’s left a hole.
