Hallam Chapman (13-16C)

Hallam left West Buckland in 2016 to study Product Design and Engineering at Manchester Metropolitan University.

He has been selected to play for the 1ST XV BUCS league at MMU, including their Varsity match against Manchester University at Sales AJ Bell Stadium. Which MMU won for the first time in 17 years. He has started in every one of their matches.


Having played County rugby for Devon at U16, U18 and U20.  He represented SW England U18 and was non travelling reserve for England U18. So far this year he is starting No.8  for Lancashire U20’S and looking to go further. He returned to his Devon roots making a guest appearance for Barnstaple in their Boxing Day Derby against Bideford and was awarded Man of the Match.


In January 2017 he scored a try on his debut for Sedgely Park Tigers 1st XV, who are in the top three National 2 Northern league.
