Having successfully finished her A levels, Alex Baker (11-14B) went to work to pursue her dream of being an international dressage rider.

“In July, my horse Nibeley UJ Lady Lara and I are heading to Spain to Oliva Nova for the Young Rider European Championships, representing Ireland. To get to the Europeans we have had to qualify by competing internationally to attain the required points. I have been to three Internationals so far, all over Europe in Spain, France and Holland.

After the Europeans we are planning a trip to Ireland for the Irish National Championships. “
