George Friend (99-06F) was awarded Middlesborough’s Player of the Year voted for by Boro supporters’ club members for the second year running.

The award ceremony which took place at the Riverside Stadium this month also saw him take home the John Ovington Community Player of the Year which recognised his outstanding contribution to community & charity work.
