On Friday 28th February 2025 the OWBA will hold an OWBA Careers Dinner - Creative Industry.
This is an opportunity for all alumni, current parents and former parents who have followed a creative career to join with students who are interested in pursuing careers in this area. There will be an opportunity for students to hear about different career paths in this sector and for everyone to make connections with those working in a variety of businesses
You are warmly invited to join us.
Enjoy a welcome drink followed by speeches and dinner in the Karslake Hall.
Speakers:
Hester Berry (96-05F) – Celebrated painter living and working in North Devon.
Ed Crumpton (93-05C) – Mixed-media artist working primarily in sculpture and painting.
Jade Angeles Fitton (97-03C) – Writer, journalist and award-winning producer.
Carolyn Forsyth (88-95B) – Executive Director and CEO Talawa Theatre Company in London.
Oliver Spencer-Wortley – Award-winning composer, songwriter, arranger, orchestrator and director of Cove Music.
Charles Steel – Bafta award winning film producer of Top Boy and Last King of Scotland, MD of Cowboy Films.
These dinners are a wonderful opportunity to deepen the connection between present students and the OWBA and
inspire them to pursue a career in these professions. We encouage all with an interest to take part.
