Broadleaf sustainably produces timber for the local market.
The source is two hundred acres of mixed ancient semi-natural woodland on the southern slopes of the Exmoor National Park, North Devon. The woodlands are registered under the “Grown in Britain on Exmoor” scheme (No. GiB-G-WM-5041-005), and are managed under a ten year Forestry Commission approved Woodland Management Plan.
The primary areas of focus are provenance and adding value to home grown timber. Broadleaf products include : Cut to order timber and stock boards and beams, air dried or green (BUILD). Firewood – hardwood and softwood (HEAT). Trees – propagated from our own seed source (GROW).
Broadleaf is operated by Peter Stucley, MRICS. Peter has been working in land management since 2003, and qualified as a rural chartered surveyor in 2007.
