We are a smallholding farm on 22 acres in Mid Devon, set between Dartmoor & Exmoor, close to Chulmleigh/Winkleigh.  We breed a Vintage Native English breed of sheep, Wiltshire Horns.  They fell out of fashion many years ago as they were bred for their excellent tasty but lean meat, but they ‘shed’ their own fleece - a moult - therefore there is no interest in most commercial farmers today to breed them as the secondary income for sheep is their fleece - mind you there is no money in wool these days either!  This week & next we will be arranging our lamb dispatch & pack (this is all carried out in licensed & registered premises).  

We sell this lamb as follows:

Half lamb box = £85

This includes: mince; loin chops x 2; Leg x 2 (approx 1kg each); Rack of lamb; Shoulder of lamb.

Whole lamb box = £165 (similar to above x 2)

If there are bulk orders I’m more than happy to coordinate & deliver to school and do a car park handover (Covid friendly etc).  

Holiday Lets

On our farm we have three self catering units for holidays.  One cozy Farm Cottage that sleeps 4 in two bedrooms (one king with shower ensuite and one bunk for 2 with shower ensuite.)  The other two are new build barns with all mod-cons including underfloor heating throughout & woodburning stove - they sleep 6 in three bedrooms.  All details on our website & Instagram & Facebook.
