Many of our projects involves preparing campervans for off-grid travel, to include solar panelled roofs, solar heated showers, extra range fuel tanks and Subaru engine conversions for faster travels. All of our projects are bespoke and our team are genius at coming up with solutions for any customers request, no matter how bizarre, we can build it!

Originally set up as an automotive training centre for school pupils who had been excluding (or at risk of exclusion) from mainstream education we worked closely with local schools to offer an environment whereby students could gain vocational qualifications.
With Jon Vipond being a teacher for 20 years, and Pip coming from the Advertising & Marketing world it was by complete chance that our training centre evolved into a Volkswagen restoration centre.

However, in the past 12 years our business has gone from strength to strength and we now have a team of 10 high skilled technicians and are regarding as one of the best VW garages in the country – with many of our customers shipping us their vans from New Zealand and Hong Kong to benefit from our level of expertise
