Located in Dean, near Parracombe, we are only 3 miles to the beach and near the South West Coast Path and Tarka Trail, making it perfect for walkers, swimmers and surfers. The 3 bedroom property has a private garden and decked bridge, offering incredible vistas across the valley.

The space
Exmoor National Park is a truly unique landscape, so we're lucky to see breathtaking countryside from our windows, and yet we can be on the beach in ten minutes. The Shippon is accessed from the decked bridge straight into the kitchen, where guests can eat alfresco or cook a barbeque. The open plan upper floor offers a well-appointed kitchen, with wine chiller, hob, oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher, overlooked by the breakfast bar. Beside the kitchen is the spacious dining area, which leads onto the living space, with sofas overlooking the woodburner and large windows. Guests can watch Maisy the pony from the south facing windows as well as our visiting deer, pheasants, owls and rabbits. The exposed floorboards were reclaimed from Plymouth Dockyard.
Beside the kitchen, the utility room has a washing machine, iron, ironing board and airer.

Downstairs we have three bedrooms with new mattresses and plenty of cosy features. The master bedroom is large and airy, with views across fields and a spacious en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. The bunk room is cosy and ideal for children, although also comfortable for adults. The twin room is bright and roomy with a south-facing window. Next to this room is the main bathroom, with large shower cubicle and feature brickwork.

Throughout the property are original features of the barn, such as beams and stone cubby holes.
